Osaka Zoo is inside of Tennoji park. It cover 100 thousand square meters in area, occupying fully half of Tennoji park which is one of the most beautiful place in Osaka. The zoo has nearly 1500 animals. The address is 1-108 Chausuyama-cho, Tennoji-ku.

Shitennoji Temple was built at the request of Prince Shotoku in the 6th century, Shitenno-ji is the oldest temple in the present-day Osaka area. Tennoji temple is Japan's first ever Buddhist temple dating, although the oldest remaining structure is a 13th-century torii gate at the main entrance. The temple grounds contain a five-storey pagoda, a treasure house containing ornate mandalas and a tranquil turtle pond. The temple grounds also play host to a monthly flea-market. The temple is five minutes walk from Shitennoji-mae-Yuhigaoka subway station on the Midosuji line.

I spent just 2 days in Osaka, I stayed in Tennoji, one of 24 wards of Osaka, Japan. I visited the Shitennō-ji (Temple of the Four Heavenly Kings), which is located in the ward and the Zoo which is located in the Tennoji park.
